Submission Guidelines
- Proposals will not be reviewed if the registration fee has not been paid on or before April 1, 2012. Click here to register.
- Proposals MUST be submitted via the online form on or before April
1, 2012, by 23:59 CDT.
- Incomplete proposals and proposals not submitted via the webform will not
be considered by the Conference Committee.
- You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your proposal has been successfully submitted.
- You may make minor changes to your proposal using the form below. Changes must be completed before the submission deadline (April 1, 2012).
- Changes made after the submission deadline (April 1, 2012) must be submitted via e-mail and must be approved by the Conference Committee.
Abstract Guidelines
- Do not use diacritics or all caps on your proposal form or in your abstract.
- Abstracts should be no more than 400 words in length.
Do not include CVs or bibliographical information in your abstract(s).
- Abstracts selected for presentation are published without editing.
- If you are unable to submit the form due to a lengthy title or departmental name, please abbreviate. Abbreviations in these fields will not affect the review process.
- Include your AV request with your proposal submission. All AV equipment
is free of charge and included in your registration fee. We will do our best to meet your AV needs.
Presentation Guidelines
- Presenters must bring their own laptops.
- MAC/Apple users, please bring your own LCD projector connection conversion cable (adapter).
- Each individual may only submit one paper at the
Conference or participate on one roundtable or alternative session. Panel
and roundtable/alternative session organizers: Please consult
with the participants listed on your proposal to ensure that they are
not already listed as presenters on another proposal.
- Each person may only appear a maximum of three times in
the program book. This means that while you may only be a presenter
on a panel or roundtable/alternative session once, it is acceptable
to be listed as chair and/or discussant on the same or other proposals.
The following are examples of a few acceptable scenarios:
- A person may be listed as a chair or discussant on three separate proposals.
- A person may serve as chair and discussant for one proposal and be listed
as a paper presenter on a second proposal.
- A person may be listed as a roundtable presenter on one proposal, and serve
as a discussant or chair on two separate proposals.
