Proposals will not be reviewed if the registration fee has not been paid. Registration fees and proposals must be in our office on or before April 1, 2012. You will have the opportunity to register for the conference after submitting this form. Please consult our refund policy.
Ensure that one person has been designated as the organizer of your panel. Use the buttons on the form to select which panel member is the organizer. This person is responsible for ensuring that:
Each panel proposal should have one person listed as the chair. The chair introduces panelists, keeps time during presentations, and facilitates questions and answers.
A panel proposal must have at least 3 but not more than 4 presenters including a discussant, if desired. Proposals must, therefore, consist of either: 1) a chair and 3 presenters, 2) a chair and 4 presenters, or 3) a chair, 3 presenters, and a discussant.
Panel abstracts should describe the theme of the session and how each presentation contributes to the theme. A statement of the argumentative, methodological, or theoretical contribution of the session should also be given.
Paper abstracts should clearly state the argument or main point of the paper presentation and describe the evidence to be given. Please also describe the relevance or impact of your research and/or the conclusions you have reached or expect to reach.
